Chad Cardinal

Senior Vice President and Head of Playfly Aspire Properties

Chad Cardinal serves as Senior Vice President and Head of Ticketing & Premium Hospitality Properties at Playfly Sports, leading a division of nearly 200 associates responsible for more than $100 million in annual revenue. His responsibilities span ticketing, premium and hospitality sales, sponsorships, donations, training, and consulting, along with oversight of client engagement and collaboration with human resources and legal teams.

Since joining the organization in 2015, Chad has built a reputation for retaining talent, thinking long term, and developing relationships that deliver lasting value for partners. His experience includes work with more than 100 professional sports and NCAA Division I partnerships across every U.S. time zone.
Before joining Playfly, Chad spent nine years in revenue-generating and leadership roles with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Sporting Kansas City, and the Boston Bruins, focusing on premium and ticket sales.

A native of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, Chad played collegiate baseball at Mayville State University, where he earned a degree in Exercise Science and Sports Management. He also holds an Executive MBA from Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business and Management.

Beyond Playfly, Chad teaches international graduate students in Pepperdine Graziadio’s Applied Behavioral Science department and serves as an advisor to a Silicon Valley venture capital and private equity firm.

Chad lives in Boise, Idaho, with his wife and their four children.
